Stater Bros. Markets has been a staple in Southern California for over 80 years, but their brand was beginning to show its age. Steeped in Americana and trapped in an 80’s mentality, Stater Bros. Markets was struggling to connect with the younger, acculturated Hispanic audiences that now make up a larger population in the region. Armed with a new strategy that combined their working class heritage with a renewed commitment to diversity and inclusion, a new brand was born.
To announce this fresh take on the brand, we developed a campaign that included OTT, OOH and digital media buys all rooted in the concept of “bring it home”. The goal was to position the brand as more than just a place to find delicious food at a great price, but a community partner that provides ingredients for families to make memories that matter.
